Facebook Connect is a service offered by Facebook so that people can log into their favorite sites using their Facebook username and password. To try Facebook Connect, just choose the Facebook Connect option on any login page of the website.

In addition to making it easier to log into the site, Facebook Connect also allows you to use your name and profile photo from your Facebook account and to easily share with your friends by posting interesting Blogs to your Facebook feed.

Currently, only the user’s full name and profile image is shared. Your email address is not shared through Facebook connect. When you are logging in for the first time using your facebook account the site asks you to update your email address. You can choose to update your email address when you log in using your Facebook account or you can go to :  Profile page - edit details to update your email address and other information.
