On an international tour, landing from Dubai then off to New York City and then Canada, Akshay Kumar promotes his most awaited film of the year Tees Maar Khan.

Tabrez Mirza Khan (Akshay Kumar) is the world infamous conman and shameless criminal. One day he is given a heavy-loaded assignment by an international antique smuggler to steal antiques and jewellery worth 500 crore off a moving train. Along with his wannabe bollywood star Anya (Katrina Kaif), they attempt to accomplish mission impossible.

Featuring a Muslim character, with a vigorous title, Tabrez Mirza Khan has been named as Tees Maar Khan in this action comedy. “It is a title given, a super agent’s title, given to him by his fans and followers. It actually means very smart and clever”, Farah explains.

Anya dreams to be Bollywood no.1 actress who has already been featured as sizzling and dazzling in the item song Sheila Ki Jawani. With more than 1,700,000 hits on YouTube, Sheila Ki Jawani has been the Christmas item ‘anthem’ since it was announced by UTV Motion Pictures last November. “Sheila Ki Jawani will definitely be a hit song. We have constructed it, composed it, and choreographed it in a way that people will like it. This kind of rage is that people are watching it on YouTube hundreds of times…what’s surprising is that kids are loving it, whether we should be happy or worried (laugh). Kids love it…”, Farah Khan compares SHJ item song to its predecessor Munni Badnam Hui.

Katrina Kaif has been rumoured that she was usually late on set and not on time. “Katrina is very hard working. We have no complaints about her. And if she was late, it’s because her costume didn’t arrive on time or the costume designer wasn’t there. Especially in Sheila Ki Jawani, we were trying to stitch outfits on her, so nothing will give a way while she’s dancing! But if she’s late today, that’s I can’t help it (laugh). But she was always right on time”, Farah Khan says in the interview while only Akshay Kumar was present.

This film aims at entertaining bollywood lovers and cinema fans, with no intended ‘social messages’ as in Main Hoon Na. “A movie like Pink Panther, does it have a social message? No! It’s kind of a festive film, it’s Christmas and new year. Come and enjoy yourself”, Akshay highlights. However, Akshay complements that TMK is a very cleverly-written character. He is witty and wise at the same time when he is assigned a horrendous job to steal 10,000 kilos of antiques alone, nevertheless, it is a very comedy movie.

If there is one character the film director identifies with, that would be TMK’s mother as she can relate to her motherly and gullible personality when she believes her son in everything he tells her. “Everyone is mad in this movie (laughs). I definitely don’t identify with TMK. But I think I identify with TMK's mother; she is sweet, gullible, and very motherly", Farah Khan relates to a character , close to her real-life, in the film.

Whether to see a sequel of this long-awaited film, “it depends on how successful this movie is, and whether people like this character or not. Then there is a point of making part two. If it works alright, then why not”, Akshay Kumar is hoping that his movie will be the biggest hit of the year.
