Bollywood's season of patchups sure hit its highest point this past weekend when Kareena Kapoor  and her former flame Shahid Kapoor  were spotted chatting at an awards function.Ever since they broke up in 2007, Kareena has been studiously avoiding Shahid at public events, leave alone talking to him. Subsequently, Shahid moved on to his current heartthrob Priyanka Chopra  , whose cold vibes with Kareena are only too well known.
Kareena, on her part, found steady love in Saif Ali Khan.Last weekend's incident has therefore made the industry sit up and take notice. The grapevine is already abuzz with one question: does it mean Shahid and Kareena are about to sign a new film together, much against what Saif or Priyanka would tolerate? At the awards' do, Kareena was making an exit from the hall after performing live on the stage.Shahid was having a conversation with Shah Rukh Khan  just outside the stage. Onlookers expected Kareena to ignore Shahid and walk past the two actors.However, she chose to stop by and started chatting them up. "Kareena actually stopped because of Shah Rukh.
You don't just ignore SRK and walk past him. Since Shahid was also around, she might have conversed with him for the sake of courtesy," says a source who witnessed the incident.So, after exchanging pleasantries, Kareena struck a conversation involving both SRK and Shahid. "They seemed in a jovial mood. Kareena was happy because her just-concluded performance had rocked. Shahid looked pleasantly shocked when Kareena spoke to him," said the source.The vibes between Kareena and Shahid have gone worse over the recent past because she and his girlfriend Priyanka have been regularly engaged in taking potshots at each other in the last few months.
