Prepare to be gripped in suspense as Bollywood Superstar, Akshay Kumar, once again proves his mettle in BLUE, Bollywood's first deep sea adventure film, releasing in cinemas worldwide on 16th October 2009. BLUE promises to be a one of a kind film that takes Bollywood to new and unexplored depths, with breathtaking underwater sequences, thrills, adventure and adrenaline-paced action. 

BLUE has been shot in exotic locations such as the Bahamas and is based on the search for treasure buried deep beneath the ocean. Akshay underwent intensive deep-sea scuba diving training in Bangkok with most of the scenes filmed underwater. International pop star, Kylie Minogue, also makes her Bollywood debut in the movie, with a pivotal role, playing herself, as well as appearing in the title track of the film, music for which was composed by multi-Oscar winner, A.R. Rahman (SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE).

BLUE promises to be one of Akshay's best action films to date and features an extremely dangerous escapade 150ft underwater, in which he performs a jaw dropping fight sequence without wearing an oxygen mask or diving goggles. 

BLUE releases in cinemas worldwide on 16th October 2009.
